By using high resolution aerial images from UltraCam, Pixelo created a 3D Geo Analytics of existing public and private infrastructure for 20 municipalities in France.
In 2018, a Belgium based Aerial Photogrammetric company, engaged the services of Pixelo in order to have the entire existing infrastructure mapped and created into a Geo Analytics system.
Pixelo performed mapping of 20 municipalities covering 180 sq.km.
The mapping was carried out using high resolution UltraCam images and involved preparation on base map at a scale of 1:1000. Once the base map is created the data is converted into an ESRI geodatabase. Once the geodatabase is created, required topological relationships are built and the data is made into a Geo Analytics system.
1. Base Map Preparation:
The Aerial images are oriented using the Image Station SSK photogrammetry suite. Using the stereo methods, the following classes of features are captured.
2. Geodatabase Design
An Enterprise Geodatabase is designed to cater the objective of the system. The database is created in Oracle 10G and the GIS data is migrated to the Geodatabase. The attributes such as geographic areas of the Private Properties and Public Properties are created. The database enables Municipalities to manage the Public resources, infrastructure and improve the Revenue collection.
